CERTIFIED CE-MARKED GLASS PANELS
CERTIFIED CE-MARKED GLASS PANELS
The fire-rated glass panels offered by our company are manufactured according to the standard
EN 13501-2, ensuring absolute thermal insulation and integrity, in other words, they guarantee the fire protection class type EI.
The fire-rated glass panel consists of two thermally toughened glass panels according to the standard EN 12150, and the cavity between the two glass panels is filled with a colorless intermediate layer of hydrogel. The thickness of the intermediate hydrogel layer determines the fire resistance category of the unit.
Advantages of the glass panels our company offers, types EI and EW, include:
• Symmetrical design
• CE marking according to standards EN 14449, EN 12150, and EN 1279
• Exceptionally large glass sheets up to 2200 mm x 4200 mm
• Installation-friendly glass (rounded edges and no need for repositioning)
• High sound reduction index – Rw up to 52 dB (TGU)
• High light transmittance tv up to 87%
• UV resistance – no need for additional intermediate PVB layers or UV filters
• Highest safety class 1(B)1 (according to EN 12600)
• Extreme ambient temperature range from –40 °C to +50 °C
• High water resistance (no need to protect glass edges with aluminum tape)
• Available irregular glass shapes
• High mechanical resistance – thermally toughened safety glass
• Lower weight and reduced thickness compared to other fire-rated glass panels.
